You are aware that DGFT introduces several products for the benefits against exports under MEIS / SEIS during the year. Based on certain parameters DGFT does include new product during the year for which we need to submit certain justified request to DGFT. In case of your product or countries are not covered under this scheme, we suggest you to kindly come personally along with following information to enable us to guide you about inclusion of your export products in this scheme.

We require the data in following formats

Kindly bring few Shipping Bills of all the products, so we can ascertain correct ITC HS code of your product and scope of inclusion of products & countries.

After studying scope, we will give you specialised and professional knowhow to prepare a justified representation to D.G.F.T., New Delhi.

We suggest you to come personally as early as possible do that your to export product are included under higher possible rate of MEIS percentage scrip of FOB value in the forthcoming new list of MEIS rates.

Interim relief for new product introduced

• For exports of such products/goods, to such markets, a grace period of one month from the date of notification / public notice will be allowed for making this declaration of intent.
• After the grace period of one month, all exports (of such products/goods or to such markets) would have to include the declaration of intent on all categories of shipping bills.
• For exports made prior to date of notification/public notice of products/markets, such a declaration would not be required since such exports would have already taken place.
