In case of any changes in the Name, Constitution, Addresses and Addition of New Addresses you must submit the application within 90 days along with necessary documents. Otherwise your IEC will be ceased.

If you are holding IEC, but your factory / factories / Godown are not mentioned in IEC it is mandatory to include the same. It is compulsory to include all address for Export / Import done from same premises.

Attention to the Pharmaceutical Industry: If you are having a Loan licence, it is treated as a manufacturer, so kindly add all such factories in your IEC to avoid problem with Customs / Excise Authority/Octroi Authorities.

The following information / documents are required to prepare the application for Modification of existing IEC.

• Original IEC Certificate
• If you want to include any address, we require the documentary evidence such as Lease Agreement, Rental Agreement, VAT Licence, Excise Licence, Rent receipt, Telephone Bill, Electric Bill or any Government proof.
• In case of any change of constitution, kindly give the following:
  • List of full names of Directors / Partners / Proprietor / Trustee with full names of father / husband and their residential addresses & telephone number and email id.
  • Form No. 32 /DIR & Form 11 & 12 issued by ROC under Companies Act, (along with payment receipt) for deletion / inclusion of Director.
  • Partnership deed / Dissolution Deed duly register. If not registered so far, copy of payment made to registrar.
• If any change in registered office, kindly give full address along with Form No. 18/22 (issued by ROC)Filed with Registrar of Companies and copy of payment receipt of Registrar of Companies.
• Original Bank Certificate on Bank Letter heads. Bank will also attest photo of signatory who will sign the application for IEC. (Be ensure that bank certificate showing full name and address of Designation &IFSC code. Also be ensure that while issuing bank should not put any condition on this certificate. Kindly get Bank A/c Number only in Savings/Current Bank Account only)
• If there is a change of registered office, change of signatory, change of banker, then bank certificate is must. (specimen copy available with us)
• Copy of Permanent Account Number (both side)
• 10 Letter Heads of your company.
• D.D. of Rs.200/- in favour of Adl. DGFT, Mumbai
• Six Passport size photograph of signatory i.e. Director / Partner / Proprietor.
• Self-addressed envelop along with postal stamp of Rs.80/ -as there is no provision for hand delivery it is mandatory to send the IEC by speed post.
• Cheque for Rs. ………………………… in favour of M/s. _____________________

It is compulsory that all paper / documents to be submitted must by dulyself certified with Rubber stamp. Otherwise application will be rejected.

Note

Importer Exporter Code number issued with the branches / division / units as mentioned in the IEC certificate is valid for all addresses.

Warning

Please ensure that the Postal Address given in the IEC is correct as they are sending the IEC Certificate by Speed Post. If the address is not proper the Postal Authorities will return the IEC to the Licensing Authority and there will be enforcement action against the exporter so kindly ensure that the postal address given in the IEC is correct and suggest you to put a name plate at main address given in application.

Duplicate Copy of IEC

In case IEC No. certificate is lost or misplaced, for obtaining duplicate IEC certificate, the above mentioned Sr. No. 1 to 12 (of fresh IEC) and in addition following documents are required.

• Affidavit on Rs.100/- stamp paper duly notarized.
• D.D. or T.R. Challan for Rs. 200/- in favor of Addl. DGFT, Mumbai.
• Zerox copy of IEC
• 4 photographs of signature whose photo already appeared in existing IEC
